How To Choose Your Topic

❇️     Do not go too broad

❇️     Pick an industry or niche first

❇️     Start with a specific niche that you want to go after

     ❇️     Be narrow

What The Sponsors Wanted

➡️     Opportunity to be a speaker

     ➡️     List of attendees

What Natalie Looked For In Speakers

👉     Someone who can be her potential partners in the future

👉     People who aligned very well with her audience

👉     Does not compete directly with what she does or the company that she organizes the event for but serves exactly the same audience

Types Of Speakers

     ✔️     Type A

  • High profile speakers

  • Most probably will not share a lot of information about the events that they are speakers at

  • These are the people who will attract audience to the events

     ✔️     Type B

  • Very well known but less than type A

  • They are willing to share information

     ✔️     Type C

  • Best prepared speakers

  • They are willing to share your information about the event to their audience

  • These are the majority of the people

     ✔️     Type D

  • They do not have an audience

  • They are not well known

  • They probably did not have any speaking opportunities or engagements in the past

Why She Did A Live Event

❇️     Her goal was to partner up with companies going live and not just asking of them to send a pre-recorded presentation

❇️     It’s a chance to connect with them

❇️     She could do a Q and A during the session

     ❇️     It’s all about connection

How To Overcome Challenges

➡️     Have a team of people who can man the chat, show that there's engagement happening,  answer the questions, replying to people's comments and emails, and troubleshoot any problems

Challenges She Faced

👉     Technical problems, people not able to log in

     👉     Speakers not showing up

Natalie's Advice On Doing Live Events

     ✔️     Be ready for anything

     ✔️     Do not freak out

     ✔️     Have a support team

Her Post Summit Strategy

     ❇️     For the attendees

  • Do multiple follow ups

  • Create replays

  • Send a thank you email

  • Send the attendees the link for the replays

     ❇️    For the speakers

  • Follow up with the speakers

  • Send a thank you email

  • Share the recording and other information you can share with them
