3 Areas To Start To Improve Your Videos
1. Your sets
2. Your equipment
3. Yourself

Your set:
- Declutter it
- If you have props, make sure it’s relevant, on topic, and complements you and what you’re doing
- At least 2 meters of space behind you

Your equipment:
- A really good camera (Recommends Panasonic G7)
- Lights
- Microphone (Boom mic)
- Memory cards
- Batteries
- HDMI Cable

Advice on backgrounds:
- It depends on your audience and topic

Example: If you’re about nutrition you can do it in the kitchen
- Ask yourself, where would you sit with this person if they came to your house and were meeting you?
- Think about what is on topic for your audience
- Get your camera and stuff set up first

Yourself:
- The heart of it is you
- If you’re recording a video, talk into the cameras as if there's one person at the other end
- Talk with passion
- Think about why you are doing this
- Try to get to the heart of what is it that you love doing and just try to draw that out of people
- You are not just talking into this black box, you're talking to someone at the end of it who could be your next best customer
- Be confident

"Get a good camera, get yourself sorted out because it really will make a huge difference, and you will change from this reluctance of, “Oh, I really need to make videos.” to actually going, “I really enjoy this.”. I’ve been a photographer for 18 years. You take portraits of somebody and they love it and they can't wait to share it on social. You know, that's how you will feel. If you can invest in this, get yourself sorted out with video. And I promise you be coming back to me going, best thing I've ever done. The impact it's had has been incredible. So definitely, bite the bullet with this. It's not a huge investment in terms of equipment or my training. And it will absolutely shift you from dreading and fear in this to actually looking forward to it and realizing how powerful and just open up a whole new world to you with video."
