Engagement Events VS Enrollment Events

     ➡️    Engagement events

  • Engagement events are there to get content, connection and community

  • They're not actually trying to sell anything

  • It might be a corporate event, a trade association event, or a mastermind

  • Fulfillment event, something that you've sold and now you're fulfilling, group coaching program

     ➡️     Enrollment events

  • An enrollment event is an event that's making a high ticket offer

  • Generally we are selling something and generally it's going to be a mastermind, a group coaching program, some type of coaching service or ongoing support service to help people get there further, faster

How To Make People Show Up And Stay 

     ✔️     Set expectations beforehand

     ✔️     Reiterate it during registration, door opening, networking, host interaction, and giveaways,

     ✔️     Add gamification

  • If you're going to go the gamification route, it has to be rewarding actions that you want and it has to be automatic

  • Use a point system. Reward them using the points they earned.

     ✔️    Ramp up the engagement and the creativity 

     ✔️    Make them do things

     ✔️     As a host, you have to be hyper-engaged with your audience

 

Setting The Schedule Up

     👉     Think through your time zones

     👉     Who's your audience? 

     👉     What time zones do you need to serve? 

     👉     What's realistic for your crowd? 

     👉     Meet them where they are

     👉     Think about who your audience is, but compress the hours

 

What They Did Differently That Contributed To The Success Of The Offer

     ➡️     Have 4 offers instead of an all roads lead to one offer

  • Day 1 - $297 

  • Morning of Day 2 - $3,000

  • Afternoon of Day 2 - $797

  • End offer - $2,000 

     ➡️     Provide transparency

     ➡️     Acknowledged offer fatigue

     ➡️     Give them discount coupons

     ➡️     Create scarcity

 

Recommended Offer

     ✔️     Day 1 - Super low ticket

     ✔️     Day 2 - Only make your primary offer your high ticket offer

     ✔️     Day 3 - Do your re-pitch

  • If you really feel compelled to, you can do a sweeper offer after the re-pitch is closed, your primary offer has closed as long as it's low ticket, like 1997 or below

     👉     A virtual economy is an experience economy

     👉     Events are always about experience

     👉     Ultimately what you're trying to do as a speaker, author, influencer, knowledge broker, is to connect with your community and to create an extraordinary experience that makes them want more from you, that positions you as the authority

     👉     Virtual actually requires more work, more team, more engagement to really create that experience we're talking about

     👉     But if you're able to run one in the spring and one in the fall or multiples a year, depending on your model, think of the extraordinary impact on your purpose driven payday. You have more purpose, you have more impact, you have more of a ripple effect, and you certainly have the opportunity for bigger paydays

I think this is an opportunity that we're kind of being forced into not to be opportunistic, but to deliver better service, which ultimately for you as the host will deliver more sales
