#103: How To Easily Turn Your Summit Into A Course!

Description  

Here is a quick & simple strategy to turn your summit into a course, increase your product suite and start making some additional revenue. Oh and merry Christmas! 

2 Solutions When Turning Your Summit Into A Course

     ❇️     Simple strategy

• When you are running a summit especially a multi-day summit you have several days, usually divided out by categories, topics or tracts

• Each of those categories they are usually divided into days, you have speakers who are talking about specific solutions to certain problems  

• Make an outline

• Take those categories or days.  Those become your modules

• Under those modules you have your speakers sessions

• Take those solutions they were teaching on and you now have sessions to go into each module

• Don’t plagiarize or use your speaker’s information exactly

• Write out 3-5 main points that you got from the speakers sessions

• Record yourself teaching those specific points for approximately 5 – 10 minutes (depending on how many sessions/speakers you had)

• Keep them short and to the point so that it is jam-packed with great information

• Record each of these sessions, then head over to your favorite course platform

• Take those modules you’ve created and then insert the new videos you have just recorded

     ❇️     Advanced Mode

• Take your summit and use it as an outline

• The only main difference is you come up with the information or sessions in the course

• Based off those modules or categories you have created; write down 2 – 5 sessions that you want to teach in your course.

• Things that you believe the audience would need to solve their problems

• Then you record yourself teaching those topics

• Typically this will be in your zone of expertise and will be very much through your voice

• You can use your speaker’s sessions as ideas for the sections you will create in your course

• You can come up with completely different sessions

• You can even mix and match if you want

• Most important aspect is that the information is tactical and implementable

• Information is on point with the original problem that the summit was created around
