          ➡️     Get right to the heart of what it is you're trying to teach

          ➡️     Leave them with one actionable thing that they can then take

 

Tom's Advice On Watching Summit Videos

          🔷     Do not watch every session

          🔷     Do not watch every single video

                    If you do:

                    👉     You are going to have information overload

                    👉     You're likely not going to take any specific action

                    👉     You're going to end up with different CTAs (Call To Action)

          🔷     Get a sense of what topic you think is going to resonate the most with you and what you think your                                   business can benefit most from

          🔷     Focus on the things that are important to you and your business right now

 

Tom's Video Guidelines For His Speakers

          ❇️     Widescreen, 16:9

          ❇️     Don’t do it on your phone

          ❇️     Your branding can be your own branding

          ❇️     You can use slides

          ❇️     Re-purpose your best content

          ❇️     Tailor it down to a 12 to 20 minute session

          ❇️     Do something original

          ❇️     Address solo business owners

 

One Con On How He Set Up His Summit

          👉     Making assumptions that all of the speakers were going to promote his summit full blast

 

Their Summit Goal

          ✔️     Serve them with great content

          ✔️     Bring them closer to some of the products and services that they have

 

Marketing Tactics They Used

          ➡️     They engaged their own list

          ➡️     Run social media ads

          ➡️     Short video to introduce the summit

          ➡️     Giveaway on their thank you page

               🔷     Gave away a quick incentive

               🔷     Gave away Solo Business Book Bundle

          ➡️     Swipe copy for all the speakers

          ➡️     Created scrappy images that they can share on social media

 

Keys To The Success Of Their Summit

          ❇️     Understanding the audience

          ❇️     Speaking directly to the individual that was going to be participating

 

Pieces Of Wisdom On Virtual Summits

          ❇️     If you're gonna go and, and design one, create one, execute one, you're not just getting on a stage to speak                     to your target audience, to speak to your people. You're creating the stage.

          ❇️     Virtual summits can have a lasting impact. It's really valuable because people can revisit this later on in life,                     later on in their business journey
